The D’Youville University Health Careers Opportunity Program (DYU HCOP) will assist qualifying students to enter and graduate from a health professions program and practice their health profession in medically underserved communities.

Who Should Apply?

Rural high school students who have an interest in exploring community-based  health profession work in a rural setting.

Eligible students will be: 
  • Rising sophomores, juniors and seniors (as of September 2024)
  • Reside and attend school in the following counties; Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Orleans, Steuben, Wayne, Wyoming and Yates.
  • Interest in the healthcare field
