March 10 Covid-19 Staff and Admin Update

Dear Staff and Administrators:

Out of an abundance of caution and in consideration of the World Health Organization’s emphasis on maintaining social distance as a basic preventative measure against COVID-19, we are shifting lectures and classroom instruction to a hybrid digital/classroom model beginning on Wednesday, March 18. We will re-evaluate the need for digital classrooms on March 30. The campus will remain open and all resources such as the Library, Advocacy Center, Student Success, and Student Solutions will be accessible to the campus community. All faculty, staff and administrators are expected to report to campus as they are regularly scheduled.

All classes and labs will be suspended Monday, March 16 and Tuesday, March 17 to support faculty in this transition.

These changes are necessary to allow our custodial staff to concentrate efforts toward laboratories and heavily trafficked areas, as well as to allow time for other precautionary cleaning practices. In being proactive, please help us stem the spread of COVID-19 in Western New York.
