Getting around the D'Youville campus is as simple as a swipe with our card readers installed at building entries and our automated system ensures the safety of us all through access permissions around specific spaces and times. Once you obtain your D'Youville ID our system will know what buildings you need to access and allow you to swipe in, simply and quickly.

How Can We Help

I have never had a D'Youville ID Card and I need One.

Welcome to D'Youville! Whether you're coming for classes, teaching a class of your own, or joining our student support team, we're so glad to have you. 

  • If you are new to D’Youville, do not have an ID card, or do not have a D’Youville ID photo on file, you will receive an automated email invitation from the new D’Youville CloudCard ID System.
  • In that auto-email there will be a user specific token that you will need to click on to start the process to submit an approved photo for your ID card. Detailed instructions will be in the email.
  • Only those who have never had a D’Youville School ID will receive this specialized email. You will need to wait for this email and token to begin the ID process, and each token/link is specific to the individual.
  • Once the photo is uploaded, reviewed and approved, the card will be created.
  • Once the card is ready, you will be notified by a Campus Safety Officer via email that your ID has been created, and you will need to click on the appointment scheduling link to schedule an appointment to pick up your card.
  • Picking up your ID card is by appointment only.
  • At the time of your appointment, you must bring a secondary piece of ID (i.e. driver’s license) to pick up your card to verify identity. 
  • If you do not have the required items necessary at the time of your appointment or miss your appointment time you will need to reschedule.

MY D'YOuville ID is the Old (Blue) Version and I Need a replacement ID.

Let's get you updated and back on brand! Getting a new ID is simple and your new D'Youville will get you building access.

  • If you have an outdated D’Youville ID (blue card) you will need to obtain a new, red D'Youville ID card.
  • Since your picture is already stored in our directory system, you will not receive a D'Youville CloudCard invite via email, instead  you will need to call the Campus Safety general number at 716-829-7550 to begin the ID request process.
  • Since you are replacing an outdated ID from the old system there is no fee.
  • Picking up your ID card is by appointment only.
  • A Campus Safety Officer will email you a link to the appointment scheduler which is where you will be instructed to make an appointment to pick up your DYC ID card.
  • Campus Safety will use your picture on file and your card will be printed.
  • You may pick up your card only at the time of your appointment in the DAC lobby at Campus Safety Dispatch.
  • You must bring the old Blue card as proof for needing a replacement ID.
  • At the time of your appointment, you must bring a secondary piece of ID (i.e. driver’s license) to pick up your card to verify identity. 
  • If you do not have the required items necessary at the time of your appointment or miss your appointment time you will need to reschedule.

I Have/Had a D'Youville ID but it was lost, stolen, damaged, or I need an updated picture and I need a new D'Youville Id.

Follow the simple steps below and we'll get you back on campus and accessing spaces, as needed.

  • If you have lost your ID or it was stolen you will need a new D'Youville ID. There is a $5 fee associated with the replacement of your ID. Please follow the steps for paying for your ID in the "I Need to Pay for My Updated D'Youville ID" section of this page.
  • Since your picture is already stored in our directory system, you will not receive a D'Youville CloudCard invite via email, instead  you will need to call the Campus Safety general number at 716-829-7550 to begin the ID request process.
  • You will need to bring in the confirmation stating that you have paid the $5 fee online before receiving your new card.
  • Picking up your ID card is by appointment only.
  • A Campus Safety Officer will email you a link to the appointment scheduler which is where you will be instructed to make an appointment to pick up your DYC ID card.
  • Campus Safety will use your picture on file and your card will be printed.
  • You may pick up you card only at the time of your appointment in the DAC lobby at Campus Safety Dispatch.
  • At the time of your appointment, you must bring a secondary piece of ID (i.e driver’s license) to pick up your card to verify identity. 
  • If you do not have the required items necessary at the time of your appointment or miss your appointment time you will need to reschedule.

I need a new or replacement Clinical ID.

If you've previously had a D'Youville ID, you'll find the process for your Clinical ID is familiar.

  • If you need a new Clinical ID or a replacement Clinical ID, there is a $5 fee associated with producing your new ID. Please follow the steps for paying for your ID in the "I Need to Pay for My Updated D'Youville ID or Clinical ID" section of this page.
  • Since your picture is already stored in our directory system, you will not receive a D'Youville CloudCard invite via email, instead  you will need to call the Campus Safety general number at 716-829-7550 to begin the ID request process.
  • In addition to your basic information, we will need your academic major and we will need to confirm with you that you have paid, or will pay, the online fee before being able to produce your Clinical ID.
  • Campus Safety will use your regular D'Youville ID picture on file for your Clinical ID and your card will then be printed behind the scenes.
  • You will need to bring in the confirmation stating that you have paid the $5 fee online before receiving your new card.
  • Picking up your ID card is by appointment only.
  • A Campus Safety Officer will email you a link to the appointment scheduler which is where you will be instructed to make an appointment to pick up your DYC ID card.
  • You may pick up your card only at the time of your appointment in the DAC lobby at Campus Safety Dispatch.
  • At the time of your appointment, you must bring a secondary piece of ID (i.e driver’s license) to pick up your card to verify identity. 
  • If you do not have the required items necessary at the time of your appointment or miss your appointment time you will need to reschedule.

I Need to Pay for My Updated D'Youville ID or Clinical ID.

If you have lost your ID, it was stolen, it is no longer working, you need an updated photo, or you are requesting a Clinical ID, there is a $5 fee associated in receiving your ID. Please find steps for paying for your ID in this section.

  • You will need your D'Youville ID number, if you do not know your ID number, please contact CampusIDCards@dyc.edu for assistance.
  • Go to dyc.afford.com.
  • Instead of logging-in, select Make a One-Time Payment from the Make a Selection section on that page.
  • Choose ID Replacement from the dropdown list.
  • Click the continue button on the pop up.
  • You'll be sent to a form to complete.
    • Your ID number is on the back of your ID, but please leave out the first number on the card (9) and the last number on the card (7).
  • Click the "+ADD" button to add the purchase to your cart.
  • Complete your purchase and ensure the payment processes
  • At your scheduled meeting, please show the confirmation/receipt e-mail or print out to the Campus Safety Officer.
