Montante Family Library (LIB)
The
library is housed in a beautifully renovated building originally constructed
as the Holy Angels Elementary School in 1905. The restoration of the building
has kept the tradition of fine woodwork, leaded glass and the restored
stained glass skylight of the original building.
The library contains approximately 112,000 volumes, including microtext and software, and subscribes to over 700 journals. There are computer reference capabilities for both in-house and off-site users and several full text databases are maintained in web versions. The media collection includes audio and videocassettes, compact discs, slides and other formats and audio-visual capabilities include TVs, VCRs, CD players and slide projectors. The library provides a computer lab for student use and inter-library loans are also available.
With air conditioning, indirect lighting for easy reading, conference and instruction
rooms, comfortable study areas and a student lounge, the library is a great place
for research and study.
