Alumni Professional Network Program
This program connects D’Youville students and alumni with volunteer alumni professionals who are willing to share their expertise. They are available for shadowing, internships, volunteer opportunities, and potential job openings.
Choices CT Program
This program helps you assess your interests, values, and skills. You can also research occupations and financial opportunities and connect to job banks nationwide. Annual hiring and internship opportunities and College to Career conference fairs help students connect with employers.

Career Services Mission Statement
The Career Services Center supports the D’Youville College and Student Affairs mission by educating, informing, and assisting students and alumni with career/life planning and their job search process.
Career Services Center Learning Outcomes
Students and alumni will…
- Demonstrate functional knowledge of the proper techniques involved in writing resume and cover letters for a targeted audience
- Identify potential career options and goals according to their interests
- Utilize the CSC to locate employment and internship opportunities through the CSC’s job postings and the Hiring and Internship Fair
- Possess competency in the steps necessary to obtain employment in their desired field
- Demonstrate mastery of interviewing techniques to answer traditional and behavioral-based questions
- Appreciate and actively engage in community service opportunities and their practical application to the world of work
- Demonstrate networking skills by interacting with DYC Alumni Networking Program participants and potential employers
Attention Alumni
The Career Services Center has established a new policy pertaining to the retention of credential files. Effective Sept. 1, 2007, credential files with the college that have had no activity (e.g., updating materials, requesting to send credentials, etc.) for 10 years or more will be destroyed and discarded. Alumni who established credential files in 1996 or earlier and wish to keep their files active may do so by submitting a signed written request by May 31, 2008, to the Career Services Center, ALT Rm. 315 – 316, D’Youville College ∙ 320 Porter Avenue ∙ Buffalo, New York, 14201. The CSC provides a wide range of services to alumni, including resume critiques, practice interviews, career counseling and more.
