The Career Services Center welcomes all students, potential students and alumni. We are committed to help undergraduates, graduate level students and alumni prepare for the job market both before and after graduation.

The D’Youville College Career Services Center offers free lifetime career and job search services to all students and alumni.

NACElink

NACElink (National Association of Colleges and Employers) allows you to do the following:NACElink for Students

  • Access thousands of job postings and employers from the NACElink Network, which includes more than 800 college centers.
  • To store resumes, cover letters, and other documents.
  • To apply for jobs online and view your job application history.
  • To set up alerts that will automatically notify you of new job postings.

Alumni Community Career Center

All notices the Career Services Center receives listing employment and internship opportunities for students and alums are posted on the Alumni Community Career Center website, where you will be able to search for major/specific job openings.

Alumni Professional Network Program

This program connects D’Youville students and alumni with volunteer alumni professionals who are willing to share their expertise. They are available for shadowing, internships, volunteer opportunities, and potential job openings.

Career Services Mission Statement

The Career Services Center supports the D’Youville College and Student Affairs mission by educating, informing, and assisting students and alumni with career/life planning and their job search process.

Career Services Center Learning Outcomes

Students and alumni will…  

  • Demonstrate functional knowledge of the proper techniques involved in writing resume and cover letters for a targeted audience
  • Identify potential career options and goals according to their interests
  • Utilize the CSC to locate employment and internship opportunities through the CSC’s job postings and the Hiring and Internship Fair
  • Possess competency in the steps necessary to obtain employment in their desired field
  • Demonstrate mastery of interviewing techniques to answer traditional and behavioral-based questions
  • Appreciate and actively engage in community service opportunities and their practical application to the world of work
  • Demonstrate networking skills by interacting with DYC Alumni Networking Program participants and potential employers
