Once financial aid is disbursed, and a student has a credit balance, they may be eligible for a refund. Please note that refunds must be approved by Student Accounts and Financial Aid and cannot be generated until all of your financial aid posts to your student account.
Students may purchase books in the Campus Bookstore against their estimated credit balance using their student ID card.
D'Youville College has partnered with RefundSelect from ECSI to provide students with convenient, fast and secure access to college tuition refund money. RefundSelect from ECSI provides 2 refund options:
- Direct Deposit: Disburses refunds electronically to any bank account. It takes 24-48 hours for the refund to be deposited into your bank account once you receive an email from RefundSelect that your refund was processed.
- Paper Check: Takes 6 business days to receive your refund via mail once you receive an email from RefundSelect stating that your refund was processed.
**Please note: Paper checks will be coming directly from ECSI and not from D'Youville College. There will be no option to pick up a check in the Student Accounts Office. If you choose the paper check option, there will be a two week delay in receiving your refund**
If you have already signed up for RefundSelect, do nothing. You will continue to receive your refund through the method you selected.
If you have not signed up for RefundSelect, simply log onto your STACI account and select "View/Edit" next to "Refund Options" on the "Home" page to sign up for RefundSelect.
