Buffalo, New York – October 18, 2016 – D’Youville College has named U.S. Army veteran Steven Fink as program coordinator for the Veterans Outreach and Support Services Program at the College.

He will work in the Veteran Services Office to assist with outreach and recruitment efforts in support of military service members, veterans, and family members who are seeking postsecondary education.

Fink will establish recruitment and outreach networks for those who are in transition both educationally and professionally.

He served with the U.S. Army for eight years. His duty assignments and deployments were in Germany, Texas, Iraq (twice), and Afghanistan. His primary roles included infantryman, sniper team leader, and squad leader with the 1st Infantry Division, 172nd Infantry Brigade, and the 1st Cavalry Division. The college has consistently ranked in the top five nationally as a Military Friendly College and Best for Vets School and is ranked first in New York State.
