D’Youville Names New Chair of Physician Assistant Department
She had been an assistant professor on the graduate faculty and served as director of Graduate Research prior to her appointment.
Dr. Dunn founded the Physician Assistant Research Scholarship fund at D’Youville and serves on the Graduate Faculty Council.
A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Dunn earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the New York Chiropractic College and her Physician Assistant degree, summa cum laude, from D’Youville. She was a physician assistant at Buffalo Cardiology and Pulmonary Associates and was a preceptor for D’Youville, Daemen College, and the University at Buffalo.
Dr. Dunn has more than 13 years of clinical practice experience and specializes in pulmonary medicine.
She is a member of Pi Alpha Honor Society, the American Academy of Physician Assistants, New York State Society of Physician Assistants, WNY Physician’s Assistant Association, and the Association of Family Practice Physician Assistants.
