AM Buffalo Interviews HSA Professor
DYC's Lisa Rafalson discussed career opportunities for HSA majors.
Buffalo, New York – March 16, 2015 – On a recent AM Buffalo episode, DYC’s Lisa Rafalson, PhD, associate professor of health services administration and department chair, was interviewed about career opportunities for public health and health analytics majors.
Rafalson said: "Right now New York State has a shortage of public health workers. So the job market is ripe for people trained in this area.”
Rafalson also discussed the burgeoning health analytics field. About D'Youville's new bachelor's degree program in Health Analytics, she said: "The program is designed to educate students on how to work with large sets of data."
