Pharmacy Times Interviews Pharmacy Dean about PharmD Program
DYC's Gary Stoehr said faculty-led service trips overseas and local community outreach programs create a unique learning environment.
Buffalo, New York – December 12, 2014 – An article in Pharmacy Times interviews Gary Stoehr, PharmD, dean of the School of Pharmacy at D'Youville College, about the aspects of the PharmD program that make it unique.
"Students at D’Youville’s School of Pharmacy can learn about health care systems different than their own through established relationships with universities in Uganda and China. They can also go on faculty-led service trips to Ecuador and Haiti," he said.
According to Stoehr, the job placement rate for D’Youville’s Class of 2014 was 98%, and its North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination pass rate for the same class was 95.61%. One hundred percent of students passed the Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Examination, as well.
