Alumni Director Named
Buffalo, New York – May 6, 2013 – D’Youville College named Meg Rittling Richardson Director of Alumni Relations. She started in the position May 6.
She is responsible for the leadership and coordination of alumni relations and for the development of initiatives appealing to current alumni with a focus on involving the younger alumni of the private college. The Director will also assist in the Annual Giving Campaign, which raises money for D’Youville.
Richardson will also serve as college liaison to the Alumni Board of Directors and advise the Board on college policies and direction.
Prior to joining D’Youville, she was Director of Alumnae Relations at Holy Angels Academy in Buffalo where she also served as Office Manager for four years.

Her energy, enthusiasm and dedication will serve our alums, both present and future, with great leadership and vision,” said Kathleen M. Christy, D’Youville vice president of Institutional Advancement, in making the announcement D’Youville has approximately 17,000 alumni.
Richardson was a Paralegal at Walsh, Roberts & Grace and Brick, Brick and Elmer law firms in Buffalo and North Tonawanda respectively prior to entering the education field. She has an associate degree from Hilbert College and holds a degree in history from Canisius College.
