New Trustees Named to D'Youville Board
Buffalo, New York – June 6, 2013 – D’Youville College has named three new individuals to its Board of Trustees, replacing members whose term has expired. The three-year appointments are effective immediately.
Named were Jodene Lynn Cunningham, owner of Cooper Bee Designs and a D’Youville alumna, Dr. Gil Michael Farkash, Chief of Service at Kaleida Health OB/GYN and Site Director of Women and Children’s Hospital, and Barbara Rene Rhee, a Director of the Patrick P. Lee Foundation of Amherst, also a D’Youville alumna.
Ms. Cunningham is owner of Copper Bee Designs in South Wales, an event florist specializing in custom floral arrangements for a wide variety of events. She is president of the D’Youville College Alumni Association Board.
Dr. Farkash is on staff at Women First Healthcare of WNY in addition to his other appointments. He is a cum laude graduate of the University at Buffalo where he also earned his medical degree. Dr. Farkash is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and past president of Buffalo Gynecologic and Obstetric Society.
Ms. Rhee, in addition to her position with the Lee Foundation, is President of the Arlington County Medical Society Alliance in Falls Church, Virginia where she resides. She is a faculty member and volunteer at St. James Catholic School in the same city.
