Health Services & Insurance
We provide a wide array of health services to students through D'Youville's Health Center, located on campus in Marguerite Hall and open from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm (Monday through Friday). For serious medical issues we also offer a weekly doctor's clinic and outside medical referrals.
While most college Health Center services are free the cost of health care in the United States can be expensive. Because of this, D'Youville College mandates that all international students must be covered by HTH Worldwide health insurance.
The premium cost depends on your age but it is generally $1650 per year. The cost of this insurance is placed on your tuition bill and your enrollment in the insurance program will be taken care of by the college.
Review the HTH Worldwide website which has a lot of information regarding the policy and many other topics of interest to international students. Do not sign up for the insurance policy online – D'Youville will enroll you in their program.
After you enroll at D'Youville you will receive insurance enrollment information directly from HTH. The information will include a policy description and a benefit card. If you do not receive this information, please contact the Health Center at (716) 829-8777 or stop in the office.
