D’Youville College is seeking an innovative, creative and experienced individual to provide direction and oversight in building and coordinating an interprofessional education center and to continue to develop IPE curricula. Our robust interprofessional simulation program has flourished over the past 5 years and now we are committed to its continued growth with an on campus simulation center.

Job Details

The successful candidate will work in an environment that values and fosters interprofessional education with over 30 collegial faculty from 8 professional disciplines. The Director of the Simulation Center will oversee all of its daily operations, work closely with the curriculum coordinator on faculty and curriculum development and center utilization. This position will report to D’Youville College’s Interprofessional Education Committee.

Qualifications include: experience in health care simulation, minimum 3 years (Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator preferred), a minimum of a bachelor’s degree (master's preferred) and eligibility for with licensure in NYS in a health care profession and a minimum of tens years of education/academic experience.
