Overview/Service Description

This service gives you the option to receive text messages on your mobile device. After you opt in to text messaging, the D'Youville College Admissions Office will send you periodic texts regarding your application status, financial aid deadlines, and event confirmations. We will only text you about matters that require an action (ex. submit your transcripts, file your FAFSA, confirm your attendance at an event). We will never share your phone number with external sources.

Opt-Out Process

You can opt out of the texting service at any time using one of the following options:

  • Call the Admissions Office at 800-777-3921 and ask to opt out of text messaging
  • Send an email with the subject line “opt out of text messaging” to admissions@dyc.edu
  • Log in to your myDYC account and change the “text message” option to “no.”

We will unsubscribe you from the service and you will no longer receive texts from the Admissions Office.
