Below find a list of publications that pertain to facets of the interplay among physical activity, sport and health. These works have been generated by our Director, Don Sabo, members of CRPASH’s International Advisory Board, and scholars and researchers affiliated with the Center.

Athletic Participation and Adolescent Health

In 1997 the following researchers formed The Working Group on Athletic Participation and Adolescent Health Risk Behavior (APAHRB) in order to enhance understanding of the links between athletic participation and health risk behaviors in adolescents.

The above researchers worked closely with the Women’s Sports Foundation, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing opportunities for girls and women in sports and fitness, in order to design and implement a series of nationwide studies including:
