Dr. Lisa A. DeMarco has been practicing in the Buffalo area since 1996, a dedicated health professional with years of progressive chiropractic experience in private practice and area hospitals. She earned a BS degree from SUNY Buffalo in Exercise Science and her Doctorate from New York Chiropractic College.

After establishing her private practice in her hometown, she began to pursue her passion for teaching. Dr. DeMarco served as a faculty member of New York Institute of Massage and as an Adjunct Professor at New York Chiropractic College's Depew Health Center.

Presently, she is an Assistant Professor within the Chiropractic Department of D'Youville College. She served as an active board member that integrated chiropractic into local hospitals and was the associate clinic director of the first free standing chiropractic department within a New York State hospital. She holds allied health privileges at Erie County Medical Center (ECMC).

Dr. DeMarco is co-founder for WeCanRow-Buffalo, NY which is a wellness and rehabilitation rowing program for female cancer survivors through the University at Buffalo. Dr. DeMarco has held multiple positions within New York State Chiropractic Association (NYSCA).

Cox Depression Technique (Flexion-Distraction); history of chiropractic techniques; development of psychomotor skills in chiropractic; improving interdisciplinary communication to improve attitudes among health disciplines; rowing as a wellness and rehabilitative program for female cancer survivors
