Spartan Bucks

Spartan Bucks are used instead of cash in the dining locations on campus. Activate your ID Card with a Spartan account for use in the PVR Dining Hall, Spartan Spot Cafe or the D'Youville Academic Center Kiosk. A Spartan account is a declining balance debit program. All students, commuter or resident, faculty, staff and administration are eligible to buy Spartan Bucks above and beyond any they may receive with their room/board rate. With just a $25 initial deposit, you will enjoy these great benefits:

• A 5% bonus on every dollar deposit
• Tax free purchases (8.75%) in the PVR Dining Hall
• Convenience of not carrying cash
• Flexibility and convenience

Money can be added to your card in the Student Accounts Office. The office is located in the KAB and accepts cash, check or credit card.

Resident students on the 14 meal plan or in the apartment complex are limited to using $15.00 of their Spartan Bucks per day. Spartan Bucks are part of the resident students semester meal/housing plan and must be used by the end of each semester or are lost. Spartan Bucks purchased separately outside of meal plans have no daily limits and unused bucks will roll over.
