Student Apartment Complex

Our apartment style residence offers the privacy and independence of off-campus living with the convenience and benefits of on-campus life. Located next to the academic buildings, students are just a few steps from classes, the library and other campus facilities, making it very easy to get to their destination quickly.

All apartments are roomy and fully furnished. The four bedroom apartments feature two full baths. Other amenities in the apartments include:

  • air-conditioning
  • full size refrigerator/ freezer
  • microwave and stove
  • cable TV hook-up
  • local phone service
  • Wi-Fi Internet access

Security

Individual electronic access cards are used to gain entry to the building, your apartment, and (in the four bedroom apartments) your bedroom, protecting your safety and privacy. Also, a well-lighted, secure, parking lot exclusively for residents makes it easy to come and go at your convenience.

Eligibility

This four story, state-of-the-art complex can house 163 students. Students who are 21 years of age or older or at least junior status (third full year of college) are eligible to live in the apartments. Preference for rooms is given to students currently living on campus. Students must also be in good academic and judicial standing with the college to live in the apartments.

Students living in the complex will receive $225 of Spartan Bucks each semester that can be used at any time either in Spartan Café or the Porterview Room dining facility. Apartment residents are not automatically enrolled in a meal plan, but may purchase one upon request.

We are accepting full-time applications for Fall 2013. We anticipate once again filling to capacity, so it is advised that any Fall housing applications be submitted by the end of May 2013, if possible.

(Updated: May 9, 2013) Please be sure to use the designated Summer Housing Form for all Summer Housing requests. Check-in Information has already been e-mailed to applicants whose summer classes start during the week of May 13th (sessions A/B/C). If you have applied for housing and have not received this correspondence, please e-mail Rory Szwed.

Those interested in Summer Session Housing for Sessions A/B/C but who have NOT yet applied for a space, please be aware that will need to make alternative housing plans for the first week of your classes until rooms can be prepared.  Later applicants and walk-ins may anticipate housing availability starting the week of May 20th.

Fall 2013 Apartment spots are filling up fast.  New students who have not already submitted an Apartment Complex application for Fall 2013 should do so before the end of May 2013.
