Celebrate the achievements of our students. Join us as we welcome family and friends to honor the work and dedication of D'Youville graduates.

D'Youville holds two formal commencement ceremonies in May and one formal ceremony in December. All eligible students are allowed to graduate at the May ceremonies which are divided between undergraduate and graduate degree conferrals. Students who are eligible to graduate at the end of the fall semester now have the option to attend D’Youville’s December commencement.

College Center (CC)

Parking: Handicap and wheelchair ramp accessibility drop-off is located in the parking lot behind the College Center. You may access it from Prospect Avenue (a one way street) before you cross Porter Avenue. This is a drop-off only location; you may park elsewhere on the campus. All campus parking lots are available that day to park without a school permit.

Commencement ticketing is done electronically. When completed online, up to 7 tickets may be requested: 1 ticket for you and 6 for your family and friends, which can be printed.

By invitation only:

  • All graduating students will be sent an email about the ceremony, inviting them to attend and reserve their tickets. Select Attend Event.
  • At the event page, select Register.
  • Once registered, a reply is sent out that includes electronic tickets for each person. Print your tickets out and bring them to the ceremony.

2019 Spring Commencement Speaker

United States Air Force Captain Jessica Tait is the 2019 D’Youville Commencement speaker on Sunday, May 19. Tait showcased her calm demeanor under pressure serving as the US Government spokesperson for the 353rd Special Operations Group assisting in the search and rescue mission of a junior soccer team in the Tham Luang Cave in 2018.

Tait appeared in over 85 on-camera interviews with major international and local Thai news outlets and provided response to over 100 media queries.
