”Within my first semester I took the OT 101 class which helped me understand and learn a little more about my future occupation.“
I am in my sophomore year of college. As an occupational therapy student in the D’Youville program I cannot imagine myself in another program or at another school. D’Youville’s atmosphere is full of friendly faces and energy. It brings people together who are passionate to excel in whatever program they go into. Being a resident on campus I have had the opportunity to meet some great people and participate in some cool activities.
As an incoming student there are many clubs and activities to get involved in. I have had the opportunity to get involved in women’s crew during my freshmen year and the school newspaper my sophomore year. Getting involved has allowed me to make friends and become a part of campus life.
One of the reasons why I chose D’Youville was because of the direct entry program. Within my first semester I took the OT 101 class which helped me understand and learn a little more about my future occupation. As a sophomore, I picture myself in a hospital setting working with children. But after another four years this answer might change!
