“The Pharmacy community at D’Youville is there to help you succeed.”
My initial plan of action when I started classes was going to be a “no life” type of person. A “no life” person is someone who would study all day and sleep when needed. But, that plan was quickly dropped when I became active on campus. I participated in Cross Country and held MVP my freshman year. I was an active member in the Pre-Pharmacy Club then became the president of the club the following year. On top of my academics and programs that I have committed to on campus, I still attended a majority of the events that were held on campus and kept a great GPA.
The Pharmacy program is astonishing because of the warm welcome and friendly faces that you see daily. It is a pleasant reminder that the faculty and staff are here to help in any way possible. The aura that the Pharmacy community gives is humble and supportive. The Pharmacy community at D’Youville is there to help you succeed.
Keep an open mind when starting college; do not have tunnel vision of your program. When college is all over you can say that you took all the opportunities that were offered. Experience is priceless and an open mind to everything will make your college experience something that you will never want to forget.
