Optional Essay Questions

Please choose one of the following topics. Essays should not exceed 500 words.

1. What experiences influenced you to apply to D'Youville College?
2. What factors motivated you to pursue your intended major?
3. What experience in your past has shaped you into the person you are today? Describe the experience and how it has impacted your life.

Note: Physician assistant applicants are only required to complete the following essay, not to exceed 750 words: Why have you chosen the PA profession over other health professions? What qualities do you feel you would bring to the PA profession?

Tip: Completion of the essay is highly recommended and is used by the admissions committee to achieve a higher level of understanding of what makes you a unique applicant.
