Merit Scholarships
You may be able to lower your tuition bill and room and board expenses just by applying to D’Youville! We reward applicants with academic and achievement scholarships in recognition of their accomplishments. All rewards are renewable and are not based on financial need.
Honors Scholarships
Qualified freshmen in the past have had a high school GPA of 88 or better and a combined math/critical reading SAT score of 1100 (or a 24 on the ACT).
Scholarship: 50% off undergraduate tuition and 25% off room and board fees.
Duration: 4-5 years (depending on length of program), Students must maintain a 2.75 GPA to retain the scholarship.
Academic Distinction Scholarships
Qualified freshmen in the past have had an approximate high school GPA of an 85 and a combined math/critical reading SAT score of 1000 (or a 21 on the ACT).
Scholarship: 25% off undergraduate tuition and 50% off room and board fees.
Duration: 4-5 years (depending on length of program), Students must maintain a 2.5 GPA to retain the scholarship.
D'Youville Achievement Scholarships
Qualified freshmen in the past have shown strong potential in the class room and have performed well on the SAT or ACT.
Award: $2,000 - $4,000 annually based on qualifications.
Duration: 4-5 years (depending on length of program), Students must maintain a 2.25 GPA to retain the award.
Transfer Achievement Scholarships
In the past, transfer students have performed well at another college or university and have had a minimum cumulative GPA of a 2.75 or better.
Award: $3,500 - $5,000 annually based on qualifications.
Duration: 4-5 years (depending on length of program), Students must maintain a 2.5 GPA to retain the scholarship
Sister Mary Charlotte Barton Kinship Scholarship
The Sister Mary Charlotte Barton Alumni Kinship Scholarships are presented in the spring of each year for the following academic year. Scholarship recipients are selected by a committee composed of members of the Alumni Board of Directors. Award recipients are selected based on the applicant’s high school or college achievement, volunteer service and financial need. Applications must be resubmitted each year to be eligible for consideration.

Dillon Scholarship
This full-tuition scholarship is awarded to one student annually; candidates must complete the application by February 15th and meet the following criteria:
- Gain admission as a freshman for the fall entry term of the academic year.
- Earn a G.P.A. of 93 (3.0/4.0) or better in a rigorous college preparatory high school curriculum consisting of at least three years of math and science, four years of English and history/social studies, and one year of a foreign language.
- Achieve a minimum combined math and critical reasoning score of 1300 on the SAT 1 or a minimum composite ACT score of 29.
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Scholarship: Covers full tuition and 25% off room and board fees.
Duration: 4 bachelor or a five-year dual-degree program, Students must maintain a 2.75 GPA to retain the scholarship.
Dillon Scholarship application
Buffalo Public School District Scholarship
This full-tuition scholarship is awarded to one Buffalo Public School District high school graduate. Candidates must complete the application by February 15th and meet the following criteria:
- Gain admission as a freshman for the fall entry term of the academic year.
- Earn a G.P.A. of 90 (3.0/4.0) or better in a rigorous college preparatory high school curriculum consisting of at least three years of math and science, four years of English and history/social studies, and one year of a foreign language.
- Achieve a minimum combined math and critical reasoning score of 1200 on the SAT 1 or a minimum composite ACT score of 26.
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Scholarship: Covers full tuition.
Duration: 4 year bachelor or a 5 year dual-degree program, Students must maintain a 2.75 GPA to retain the scholarship.
