When I stepped on the campus for the first time I knew I was meant to be here
I volunteer my time with people who are less fortunate than me, making a difference in their lives. Ironically what I realized was that they often make a difference in my life.
I'm a coordinator of donations and a mentor with Back on Track mentoring program. I also participate in D'Youville's community outreach programs, such as Friends of the Night People, a charitable organization that provides food, clothing, medical care, counseling and hope to those in need.
As a D'Youville Alumni Board member, I've chaired committees and attend most alumni events. Currently, I am the recording secretary.
Summer is my favorite time of year. My husband and I enjoy driving around in our 1955 Chevy Belair. I also enjoy going camping and own a pop-up camper. We do not have children but are blessed with several nieces and nephews. I have an annual pass to the Buffalo Zoo and try to go at least three times a month with the kids. If I won the lottery, I would set up a fund for disadvantaged children to visit Disney World. Every child should have the opportunity to stand on Main Street USA in front of Cinderella's Castle and watch the fireworks.
