Secure Your Place: Submit Your Tuition Deposit

Undergraduate Students

$150 enrollment deposit

You can submit the enrollment deposit online, by mail, or in person.  This deposit confirms your place for the next term and is non-refundable after the deposit deadline.

Your payment must be postmarked by May 1 (fall applicants) or January 1 (spring applicants)

Tip: Save a step and combine your tuition deposit with the $100 housing deposit.

$100 Housing Deposit

To reserve on-campus housing, you need to submit a housing deposit. You can submit the non-refundable deposit online, by mail, or in person. 

The Residence Life Office will contact you with the housing forms, once your housing deposit has been processed. The housing forms, including the application and roommate questionnaire are also available online, beginning in April.

Apply for Financial Aid

Fill Out and Submit Your FAFSA

To determine financial aid eligibility, complete the FAFSA online. The D'Youville College FAFSA code is 002712. Instructions can be found on our FAFSA page. 

  • To be considered for most sources of financial assistance, we recommend you file the FAFSA by February 15 for fall admission, so you can receive an award letter from us in early March. 
  • For spring semester, file FAFSA by November 1.
New York State resident?

If you are a New York State resident you must also complete a Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) application. After filing the FAFSA, a pre-printed TAP application will be generated automatically. The D'Youville College TAP code is 0195. To qualify, you must show financial need in addition to full-time status.

Beginning in mid-March, financial aid notifications will be sent to you via mail. They are also available through your My DYC account at www.dyc.edu/mydyc.

Beginning in early to mid-March, financial aid notifications will be sent via mail and will also be accessible from your MYDYC account.

Incoming Freshman?

If you're an incoming freshman, make sure your high school sends an official copy of your final transcript after you graduate

AP or IB?

If you're taking Advanced Placement (AP) or International Baccalaureate (IB) exams, you'll need to have official scores sent to D'Youville. View our AP/IB policies.

Transfer Student

If you're a transfer student who is currently enrolled at another college or university, make sure to send your official college transcript(s) prior to final enrollment at D'Youville. You'll also need to provide proof of high school graduation.

Starting Classes in the Fall?

If you're starting classes in the fall, plan to attend new student orientation in July. Watch for your invitation to attend in April, then reserve your spot right away.

Starting classes in the Spring?

If you're starting classes in the spring, plan to attend a transfer student orientation in November or December. Watch for your invitation to attend in the fall, then call Connections to make your advisement appointment.

Physical Exam & Immunization Forms

New York State law requires proof of immunization for measles, mumps, rubella and meningitis before registering for classes. Have your physician complete the health form (PDF) and the Meningitis Vaccination Form (PDF) return it to the DYC Health Center as soon as possible.

Visit Campus

Visit again by attending Accepted Student Days. Or arrange an individual visit, to meet with financial aid, faculty from your prospective major, or just to tour campus. More information can be found on our Visit Campus page.

Online Students

Review technical requirements

Students in online programs need access to and use of a computer and software.

As a student in D'Youville's online programs, you are required to have use of a computer (laptop or desktop). You must also have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and how to navigate the internet with a browser.

Computer (Hardware & Peripherals) Requirements

For network integrity and support purposes D'Youville College policy requires that all computers used on the campus network meet minimum requirements for hardware and software. Your computers should also have the following components:

  • sound card
  • speakers
  • microphone
  • web camera capable of video web conferencing
  • inkjet or laser printer
  • Software and applications
  • Operating system (Windows or Mac OS)
  • Microsoft Office* (Version 2007 and current) *Open Office is not acceptable.
