Denise M. Harris has over 16 years of higher education experience and is currently the Director of Career and Professional Engagement Services at D’Youville College. She oversees the comprehensive career development program for both the undergraduate and graduate student population. Denise is a certified career counselor, qualified to administer the Myers Briggs Type Indicator and an ATIXA trained Title IX Investigator. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in communication from SUNY Fredonia, and her Master of Arts degree in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University. Denise has presented at both regional and national conferences on topics which include, creating a career oriented culture and finding work life balance. Denise has a passion for continuous education and life-long learning and is member of WNYACCC, the Western New York Association of College Career Centers, NACE, the National Association of Colleges and Employers and NACADA, the National Academic Advising Association.

Denise is the liaison with the School of Pharmacy. She can assist with all career coaching appointments. She specializes in Interviewing Skills, Professional Networking and Business Etiquette.

Libby completed a Master of Science in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from Buffalo State College and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Canisius College. She has worked in the field of Career Services since 2015. In her current role she provides training to Career Navigators, the student assistants who review resumes in the office. She also facilitates career development workshops to various student groups. Libby meets with students and alumni for a variety of career coaching appointments, all listed on Genbook.

Nicole has over 10 years of experience in the field of higher education. In her current role as Coordinator of the Career Discovery Program (CDP), Nicole empowers exploratory and transitioning students in defining their unique academic and career-related goals coaches. She teaches two credit-bearing free elective courses (CDP101 & CDP102) which introduce students to self-assessment opportunities and teach them about degree requirements and career opportunities. She earned a Master of Science in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from Buffalo State College, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University at Buffalo. She has presented on the topic of Green Learning and her work has been published in the Academic Exchange Quarterly.

Nicole is the liaison with the School of Nursing. She also serves as the Career Coach and primary advisor to all Career Discovery Program students. She specializes in major exploration and transition between programs.

Daniel graduated from Penn State University in 2007 and has worked in higher education since then. In his current role as Student Employment Coordinator, he provides students and staff with support regarding the Student Employment Program as well as the Federal Work Study program. He is available for appointments regarding assistance with either of these programs, or applying for open positions on Purple Briefcase. Appointments can be made through Genbook.

Joseph is a graduate of Buffalo State College. He has worked in the field of education as a Teacher, and Career Coach. As a Career Coach/Employer Outreach Coordinator he works with employers to develop marketing strategies for enhancement of employer presence on campus, which includes, campus recruitment, job postings, career fairs, and class/organization presentations. He also meets with students for a variety of career coaching appointments. Joseph work closely with the student employment staff to develop work study off campus opportunities for students.
