Christine Demcie

christine demcie-director

Christine returned to D’Youville as Director, Career and Professional Engagement, after previously serving as Director, Career Services from 2010 – 2017.  She completed a M.S degree in Student Personnel Administration from State University of New York (SUNY) College and a B.A degree from Brock University, Ontario, Canada. Her recent professional career has focused on career services & career storytelling both on a college campus and in private practice. Christine considers herself a lifelong learner and has additional professional interest in instructional design & digital media and is looking to incorporate these methods & tools into delivering outstanding career services to the campus. Helping students and alumni find “what’s next” in their academic and professional career life is her passion.

Christine is always finding new hobbies to pursue, but enjoys hiking, in-line skating, cooking/baking, and fancies herself a fledgling, but aspiring writer/storyteller.
