A Message From the Dean

Welcome friends! Whether you're a new student, a student considering attending, or a member of the community interested in our programs, it is my distinct honor and privilege to welcome you to D’Youville’s School of Health Professions.

D’Youville has a long history of educating health professionals, with leadership and service central to all we do. All of our licensed professions are externally accredited and have outstanding graduation and job placement rates. Throughout your education, you will be exposed to the importance of interprofessional education.

Dean of Health Professions Maureen Finney.

Not only will you learn your craft well, you will also learn to understand and appreciate all health professions. We know this is critical to improve health outcomes and population health. This commitment is evident in D’Youville’s newest project, The Health Professions Hub. This state of the art building will open in 2020 and will be the epicenter for delivering clinical care, teaching and learning where inter-professional pedagogy is the underpinning in all we do.

I invite you to explore all that D’Youville has to offer. You will find a committed, student-first faculty whose diverse research, clinical and teaching experience will give you a one of a kind education.

I am so proud to serve as the Dean and look forward to welcoming you to campus. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if I can be of any assistance to you in your D’Youville journey.

Here’s to building healthy and thriving communities!
