D'Youville students and alumni are eligible to receive awards offered by The Software Guild.
Students or alumni who are accepted into the Coding Bootcamp before December 21, 2019 are eligible for up to a $2,000 award. Documentation is required to prove your current status.
This $2,000 award is available to all graduates of D'Youville. To qualify for the award, alumni and previous students will need to provide documentation of their graduation or program completion status.
Badge Completion Award
The award (up to $500 at the beginning of each badge) is available to apprentices who have completed the required badge level. To qualify for the award, apprentices must complete the initial Level 1 Badge and complete subsequent Badge levels for further completion awards.
Women in Tech Award
This $2,000 award is available to female students that qualify based on self-identification.
Veterans Who Code Award
Military personnel in the following groups – reservists, veterans, and/or active-duty service members – are eligible and must present proof of eligibility defined as original statement of service or certificate of release or discharge.
Award Terms & Conditions
Grant recipients must successfully complete The Software Guild admissions process and be offered a spot in the fully online, hybrid or on-ground coding bootcamp program with a cohort start date prior to December 31, 2019. Failure to begin the program prior to this date will result in forfeiture of the full grant award. Students must also be in good standing, as defined by The Software Guild and D'Youville.
University, Women in Tech, Veterans Who Code, and Badge Completion awards will be noted as a reduction to the total course fee. It will be applied to the payment required to complete course registration for the badge or program. Awards may not be combined and will not be paid directly to the student.
