I had the opportunity to do two internships, both with the Buffalo VA Medical Center.
I am a registered nurse and wanted to complete my BSN. I chose to study at D'Youville because of the college's local reputation.
Being in the RN-BSN program has been a great experience. The most rewarding thing is that I've received a very high level of education. Although there is a great deal of hard work and dedication required, I feel that I have been provided with all the necessary resources and support to be successful in both completing my degree and succeeding in my career.
I have made a very meaningful connection with the faculty here, particularly with my advisor. She went above and beyond for me in many ways. She was there for me when I needed personal and professional guidance. I highly appreciate the faculty's guidance and support as they have played a major role in allowing me to succeed in the program.
While in the RN-BSN program at D'Youville, I had the opportunity to do two internships, both with the Buffalo VA Medical Center. The first involved working with homeless veterans and the second was in the administrative section of the hospital. Both fieldwork experiences have been very beneficial to me because they allowed me to develop my role as a nurse. I am thankful and appreciative of the learning experiences I have been getting at D'Youville and I know that I will be carrying all of the knowledge that I've acquired throughout my career.
