My ultimate goal after graduation is to attend medical school to become a physician.
I'm majoring in biology because I am fascinated with the human body. It is incredible in so many ways and I wanted to gain a deeper understanding of how everything actually works. You take human gross anatomy in the state-of-the-art gross anatomy lab as an undergraduate, and have the opportunity to do research. My ultimate goal after graduation is to attend medical school to become a physician.
I come from a small, country town south of Rochester and really enjoy living in the city while I am not at home. I'm a huge Boston Red Sox fan and a big sports fan in general. I play baseball here at DYC. The competitiveness of college athletics, spring training in Florida and road trips to away games are things I will never forget. Also, oddly enough, playing baseball and having to work out or practice every day tends to structure my schedule. It's a bit easier at times to get things done when I have a set schedule for the day.
Being at a small school, teammates tend to look out for each other. It is not rare to find us studying together for a test, or helping one another try to understand a difficult concept in a course.
