Interdisciplinary Studies
Bachelor's (BA) & Combined Degree (BA/MS)
With a degree in interdisciplinary studies, you'll benefit from a well-rounded education appropriate to careers and graduate level-study in many fields, including education.
A broad academic foundation in liberal arts and sciences provides a wider perspective than traditional undergraduate majors. If you choose to become an educator, the broad-based coursework of the interdisciplinary studies major will give you the knowledge you need for teaching at the childhood level (elementary 1-6). You'll finish in five years instead of six, with two degrees, and be eligible for New York State professional certification.
