Global Studies
Economic, political, and environmental issues are becoming increasingly globalized. D'Youville College's Global Studies program will prepare you to understand the complex relationship between nations through economic, linguistic and political principles.
As a Global Studies major, you'll develop the knowledge and interdisciplinary perspective needed to research, analyze and interpret a variety of global trends including:
- Human rights
- Emerging economies
- Social change
- Energy consumption
- Food shortage
- Industrial growth
Upon graduation, you'll be prepared you for a wide variety of careers, including international business, Foreign Service and public administration.
Concentrations
The Global Studies major leads to a Bachelor of Arts degree. Choose your concentration in a world region:
- Europe
- The Americas
- The Non-Western World
