Advanced Certificates
Health Services Administration
D'Youville College offers three advanced certificate programs for students who want to specialize in one specific area of health administration.
A certificate program can be completed in as little as 3 semesters (5-6 classes).

Health Services Administration
- A focused course of study for individuals seeking a management role.
- Gain knowledge in the areas of human resources, finance, policy and law and learn decision-making skills to advance your career in health systems.

Clinical Research Associate
- A clinical research associate monitors the administration and progress of a clinical trial on behalf of a pharmaceutical company, hospital, government agency or educational institution.
- Course of study focuses on research, law, finance, and practicum placements.

Long Term Care Administration
- Emphasis is on the systems approach to performance improvement with the application of communications and change leadership.
- The courses meet the educational requirements for licensing of nursing home administrators in New York State.
- 18 credit hour program includes the New York State licensure preparation course (online).
Additional information:
- Courses are offered through the Health Services Administration master's degree program.
- Students in the certificate program can apply their advanced certificate coursework towards an HSA master's degree.
- A bachelor's degree is required to enroll.
- All courses are registered with the New York State Education Department.
- Graduate tuition and fees apply.

- Candidates must have earned a baccalaureate degree or higher in a health care discipline.
Clinical Research Associate
- Candidates must have earned a baccalaureate degree or higher in a health care discipline.
Long Term Care Administration
- Candidates must have earned a baccalaureate degree or higher.
