The great thing is that the professors have the success of their students in mind.
I decided to major in Liberal Studies for Education because I thought it was the perfect opportunity to get a degree while being exposed to a variety of disciplines in the liberal arts. As a transfer student, a large portion of my credits were transferable.
The courses I've taken as part of my degree program have ranged all the way from Robotics to Religion and it is always so exciting to learn something new. As a student in the program, the learning opportunities are endless. Since I am in the combined degree program, I take graduate level education courses as well. Once I graduate from both programs I plan to work as a teacher in Toronto (my hometown).
Each and every experience I have had with a professor at D'Youville has been meaningful. The great thing about my program is that the professors create such a great learning experience. They have the success of their students in mind and are always willing to go the extra mile to help. Another great thing about the program is that you will have many classes with the same students. This creates opportunities for close friendships as you see one another throughout your day and work on assignments together.
It was very difficult to make the decision to leave Toronto and move to Buffalo to attend D'Youville. However, the students, faculty, and staff at the college have made my experience here a very positive and memorable one.
