Doctor of Educational Leadership

In addition to the program curriculum listed below, doctoral candidates are required to do the following:

  • Complete a comprehensive examination at the completion of the comprehensive core and professional concentration. Students must successfully pass the comprehensive examination before proceeding to take EDL721 and EDL722. (See the doctoral program in education student handbook for comprehensive examination policies and procedures).
  • Present a defense of the dissertation proposal and completed dissertation. (See the doctoral programs in education dissertation handbook for the detailed presentation of the dissertation requirement).
