Student Teaching
Student teaching is an important component of your education. Students in D'Youville's Canadian Teacher Program must adhere to the following requirements for student teaching/field experience:
- Canadian students may choose only one school board in Ontario for their student teaching.
- All student teaching placements are arranged and coordinated by the Director of Student Teaching at D'Youville College after the student is accepted to the program.
- Canadian students placed in a Canadian school for their student teaching will pay semester tuition and fees for the 14-week student teaching field experience.
