Elementary School (Grades 1-6)
Early experiences and learning will shape children's views of themselves and the world. As an educator at the childhood level, you'll teach children in all subject areas.
With D'Youville's Childhood Education combined degree program, you'll take the broad-based liberal arts and science coursework necessary for teaching. You'll finish in five years instead of six, with two degrees, and be eligible for New York State professional certification.
Earn two teaching certifications—in special education and childhood education—to become even more qualified when competing for a job.
