All of the professors are very willing to help you succeed in your studies and career.
Since my freshman year at D’Youville, I have had a close connection with the professors in the program. I got the opportunity to study abroad in Greece and take an independent study. The professors helped me get my name out there so that when I graduated, professionals in the field of dietetics would already know who I am. All of the professors in the Dietetics program have great connections and are very willing to help you succeed in your studies and career.
I’ve always had an interest in food and health. Working with others and helping people improve their lives is also important to me. Nutrition will always be a vital part of life. After graduation, I hope to start a career in community nutrition. I would like to work with the low-income population. It is necessary to teach the public how to make wise choices when it comes to food, because the cheapest meals are not always the healthiest.
As a registered dietitian and nutrition educator, I believe I can help people change their eating habits and improve their lives.
