I love to learn about other countries - how their people work and how their economies operate.
I came to D'Youville because of their 5 year BS/MS program in international business. D'Youville was the only school I found that offered such a unique program. I love to learn about how other people work, how other countries operate, and the differences and similarities between us and people of other nations. The international business program includes students from all over the world and a variety of different backgrounds. The opportunity to work with these students is a great experience.
I got involved in campus activities, just simply because I enjoyed it. Over the past few years, I've worked really hard and put in many hours, but it has always been something I enjoyed doing. Winning the D'Youville Medal was like being told by the college community that we've noticed and appreciate your hard work. Winning it is like walking away with a 4.0 in involvement after 4 years.
I am not the most charismatic person you will ever meet, nor am I the most outgoing person you are going to find. But D'Youville is a place that allowed me to be the person I have always known I could be, and the person I wanted to be.
