Why major in Business?
A business major prepares you for many fields of work including management, marketing, accounting and finance, sales, and human resources management. Our graduates work in financial services, banking, telecommunications, manufacturing, retail, food service and many other industries. The skills learned in our business programs are valuable in both the business world and other professions.
Internship Opportunities
Students must complete an internship or project in which concepts learned in the classroom are applied to real business situations. Recent projects include creation of a website and promotional materials for a local business, an internship with a judge, an exporting plan for a manufacturing firm, and creation of a management information system for an academic department.
Career Plans
While graduates of our program are fully prepared to enter the job market, many students continue their studies and attain master's degrees.
