The book I authored, "Life, Ain't It an Itch?" is a faith-based guide to improving society.
I am a long term resident of the Western New York area, and the city of good neighbors supported me in my time of need. Now, I seek to return the favor by offering inspirational words to youth and adults everywhere that are in need of spiritual uplifting. I am the author of Life, Ain't It an Itch?, an inspirational book of poetry which has something for everyone who is willing to listen to a bit of advice for self-improvement or the improvement of their relationships with others. I also produced the play, "Life, Ain't it an Itch?" which was performed at the Buffalo Museum of Science theater. The play is an extension of the book and it tells the story of my life, capturing the challenges that I have been through, as well as the ways in which I was able to put my life back on track.
I chose to study at D'Youville because of the great emphasis and openness to diversity within the college. I particularly like the small classes and the ADVANCE program setup, as well as the innovative and engaging teaching styles of some of professors such as Dr. Susan Kowalewski.
I also hope to be able to continue giving back to my community. I am currently working out the final details to establish World Peace and Praise Productions Inc., a nonprofit arts initiative.
