Is financial aid available?
Yes. The ADVANCE program tuition has been specially discounted for returning adult students. In addition, our Financial Aid Office offers Stafford Loans, New York State Tuition Assistance Program (TAP), and PELL grants to eligible students.
Will D'Youville accept my company's tuition reimbursement?
D'Youville works closely with a wide variety of tuition reimbursement plans. To begin, just submit a copy of your company's policy.
I'm a veteran. Do you accept VA Payments?
Yes. We have a VA counselor who will help you with the process. You may also receive college credits for your military experience. Please contact the D'Youville Veterans Affairs Office.
I went to school a long time ago. Will my credits be transferable?
There are no age restrictions for your old credits. Courses with a grade of C or better are transferable. Up to 65 credit hours can be accepted from a two-year institution. Find out how many credits will transfer to D'Youville College by using our online Course Equivalency Database.
I have taken some of the listed courses. Will I have to repeat them?
The Registrar reviews each student's transcripts. If you have taken an equivalent course, you will not have to repeat it. Up to 50% of the major courses can be transferred in. D'Youville accepts letter grades of 'C' or better.
How long will it take to complete my degree?
Depending on your background, you may complete in as little as 18 months. Your ADVANCE program advisor will help you design your specific program.
Can I take additional courses?
Students may have additional course requirements to complete their degree. ADVANCE offers several exciting options for additional coursework.
Is this program accredited?
Yes. D'Youville College is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education accredits the MBA program.
Is each four-hour class a lecture?
No. The ADVANCE program is designed specifically for adult learners. In addition to lectures, there are simulations, group discussions, and exercises that enable you to immediately apply new knowledge to your job.
I'm interested in earning a master's degree after I graduate. Will my bachelor's degree be accepted?
Your bachelor's degree is granted by D'Youville College. Former ADVANCE students are enrolled in graduate programs here and at many other colleges.
